A wide selection of fines wines

The wines at Bottega have been chosen for their affinity with Mediterranean flavors. We want our guests to experience the exciting wines from Italy, Spain, the south of France and their California counterparts. While we include the usual suspects of chardonnay and cabernet, we hope you’ll try the Barberas, Riojas and Syrahs and come to love them just as well.

We have over 180 selections of red, white and bubbly with 16 offerings by the glass, including a Prosecco from Nino Franco, a delightful apàritif. We continue to return to one of our favorite wine regions: the south of France. These wines marry well with the seasonings we use in our cooking at Bottega. From the earthy wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape to the wild Bandol, to the plump Collioure, the rosé of Nîmes and crisp, full whites of Cassis, our food is balanced by these wines of the sun.

We are fortunate to have one of the most talented wine makers, Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat and Il Podere, making our house red wines. The "Southside Red" is a fruity, soft, oh so quaffable wine of barbera and refosco, obscure to many Americans, but it is the everyday selection for the winemakers of the Piedmont region. Another red made for us by Au Bon Climat is a pinot noir, beautiful and supple, marked by finesse.

Our house white wine is a Burgundy from Vézelay, located between Chablis and the Côtes d’Or. The renowned Raveneaus have expanded their borders and are making Bourgogne blanc in addition to Chablis. We are very pleased to be in partnership with this truly great winemaking family.

Our entire list is too lengthy to include here, but if you have a particular label or varietal in mind, we will be happy to assist you in your selection.
